Agriturismo La Sovana is situated in Tuscany, near Sarteano, Chiusi, Chianciano and Montepulciano, so the production area of Chianti D.O.C.G., the Nobile di Montepulciano and the Brunello di Montalcino. Being on the border between Tuscany and Umbria, it is the
ideal base for easily reaching a great number of beautiful towns: Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and Orvieto, which are just 50-60 Km. The proximity to railway station of Chiusi (7 km.) provides connections to Florence and Rome in just over an hour.
Surrounded by greenery, in the very heart of a 22-hectare area, la Sovana is made up with Tuscan homes, recently renovated, that have maintained their original features in order to offer their guests the opportunity to relax in a natural environment. A beautiful pool with sun terra
ce, two tennis courts, Jacuzzi, a lake for fishing, bike lanes for walks through the vineyards, springs, oaks and olive trees: here pleasures of your holidays.
Agriturismo La Sovana produces wines D.O.C.G. and I.G.T. and extra virgin olive oil of superior quality D.O.P. Terre di Siena.
The Restaurant welcomes the internal guests in an attractive location by the pool, with large windows , that look over the Tuscan hills, the olive groves and the vineyards surrounding the farm. In the dining room, when weather is fine, the tables are laid in the shade of the gazebo, where you can spend a pleasant time while enjoying a good meal of traditional Tuscan cuisine, sipping a glass of wine and enjoying the beautiful surrounding views of the estate. Preserving the Tuscan Farmhouse tradition, the family dine every night with guests, offering typical
dishes prepared with high-quality products, coming from the family’s orchard. Each dish is cooked with attention, the pasta is homemade and all the ingredients are strictly local, celebrating the Tuscany gastronomy. These culinary treasures are prepared by the skilled hands of Giovannella, in order to match scents and flavours with the excellent wines of Tenuta Le Buche, the winery of the family, as well as the area’s best wines.
