The Estates Boscarelli, currently managed by Luca and Niccolò De Ferrari, are located on the north-north-eastern slope of the Montepulciano hill, 300 meters above sea level. The owners personally oversee the selection and planting of the vineyards, so that they can unleash the full potential contained in this extraordinary product. The hectares planted with vineyards are about 14, mainly Sangiovese (80%), plus minor amounts of local varieties such as Canaiolo Nero, Colorino and Mammolo, and some other else (mostly Merlot and Cabernet), always according to the individual characteristics of the soil . Besides, in 2006, were added 2 hectares of Merlot on the grounds owned by the family in the town of Cortona.
