Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo, producers of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano since the 80s, started their business in Greve in Chianti in 1967. Today, the winery “Carpineto”, in accordance with the principles of eco-sustainability of business, cultivates about 500 hectares of land divided into 5 companies, located in the most renowned areas of Tuscany: Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino, Alto Valdarno and Maremma. The production features some very well-known and appreciated wines (including the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano “Riserva”, awarded with the 26th place in the ranking of the «Wine Spectator» “Top 100” of 2015) and extra-virgin olive oil. Carpineto has an IFS (International Featured Standard) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 9001 certification, and exports to over 70 countries.
