Owned since 1972 by Angelo Jacorossi, Fattoria della Talosa covers a total area of 32 hectares cultivated with vineyards at an altitude of 350-400 meters above the sea level. The wine-making center is located close to the vineyards, to support the carrying-out of the operations of harvest and processing of the grapes as quickly and functional as possible. The offices of the winery are adjacent to the main roads, and the main cellar is located in the historical center of Montepulciano, at a short distance from Piazza Grande, between two of the city’s oldest buildings (Palazzo Tarugi and Palazzo Sinatti). In addition to the wine, noteworthy are also the excellent Grappa di Vinacce [grape-marc spirit] da Vino Nobile, and extra virgin olive oil.
