The Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte Foundation in Montepulciano was established in 2005 and collaborates with various European and international entities. Activities move between music education and the production of performances.
The Hans Werner Henze Music Institute, run by the foundation, with its 31 teachers, involves more than 1,000 students throughout the area, from newborns to deans.
More than 100 performances are staged each year by the foundation: operas, concerts, theater, dance, performances.
