Located at a short distance from the town of Montepulciano, the winery “Godiolo” has about 2,50 hectares of vineyards with 40 years of age (cultivated with Prugnolo Gentile, Canaiolo and Mammolo; furthermore, the cultivation of Malvasia and Trebbianino enables the winery to produce an excellent Vin Santo), and about 3 hectares of vineyards recently grafted (for which the winery has selected the finest clones of Sangiovese, focusing on a production relatively small in the amount, and nevertheless, very well-finished with regard to its quality). The features of the soil favor the production of a very full-bodied wine.
