The farm Sanguineto is located on the north-eastern side of Montepulciano and covers a total area of about 35 hectares, 3.7 of which are cultivated with vineyards. The owner of the winery personally oversees the agronomic interventions carried out on the grapes and wine, in order to ensure the quality of the finished product. The vinification and aging operations are carried out in traditional oak barrels, according to the ancient and well-established local traditions. The most cultivated varieties are the traditional ones of this area: Sangiovese (in its local clone, the “Prugnolo Gentile”), Colorino, Canaiolo Nero and Mammolo.
